The hotel's location is its strongest asset. Within a minute's walk you reach the iconic St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace, while the Rialto Bridge is a short stroll away. The surrounding area is packed with restaurants, shops, and historic sights. For airport transfers, take the Alilaguna water bus (line blue to San Marco stop for easy access with luggage, or line orange to Rialto). The journey takes about 50 minutes and costs €15 per person. There is no direct road access - Venice is car-free - so all arrivals are on foot or by water. The nearest car parks are in Piazzale Roma, about 20 minutes away on foot or by vaporetto.

The hotel offers double, triple, and superior rooms. Standard double rooms are compact but functional; some travellers find them small for two people with luggage. Superior rooms are on the first floor and slightly larger. The building has no elevator and four floors with steep stairs - staff can help carry suitcases but stair climbing is unavoidable. Room sizes vary: some are spacious, while others are very small. Noise insulation between rooms is limited; light sleepers may hear neighbouring activity. Air conditioning is available, but a few units have been reported to struggle in peak summer heat. Daily housekeeping, fresh towels, and toiletries are provided. Minibar available at reasonable prices (similar to local shops). No balcony or kettles in rooms.

The breakfast selection is varied and fresh, with both sweet and savoury options. It is served in a dedicated breakfast room. While there are no hot items, the buffet is adequate for a filling start. For lunch and dinner, the area around the hotel is filled with restaurants and cafés within a few minutes' walk, including traditional Venetian trattorias and pizzerias.
