The Cipro metro stop (Line A) is a 5-minute walk away and provides direct access to Villa Borghese, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Via Veneto, Coliseum, Piazza Navona and Saint John in Lateran. The Vatican is a straightforward 15-minute walk (mostly downhill) with a few steps at the end. For Stadio Olimpico (4 km), a combination of metro and bus or a 40-minute walk is practical. The area feels safe during the day; at night some quieter side streets feel less lit, so staying on the main roads is recommended. There is a 24-hour supermarket between the hotel and the metro for snacks and supplies. Many restaurants, cafés and a gelateria are within a 5-10 minute walk along Via Andrea Doria.

The hotel offers Standard, Superior, and Vintage categories. Standard rooms are presented in a classical style with soundproofed windows, a balcony, and an en-suite bathroom with shower. They are on the smaller side - some double rooms measure around 11-12 m2 - which suits short stays or solo travellers who spend most of the day out. Superior rooms have been recently renovated with modern design, air conditioning, soundproof windows, and eco-friendly amenities; they feel noticeably more spacious and comfortable. Vintage rooms (7 on the top floor) are a highlight: they feature authentic period furniture, photographs from the 19th and 20th centuries, a sofa bed, kettle, panoramic terrace, and in some cases views of St Peter's dome. All rooms have private bathrooms (none shared). Noise can be an issue: rooms on the main road hear street and siren sounds, and soundproofing between rooms is limited - conversations, toilets flushing, and doors slamming from neighbouring rooms are audible. Light sleepers should request a room away from the road and bring earplugs. The air conditioning is centrally controlled, effective even during hot days. Beds in standard rooms are firm; some travellers find them too hard, while the Superior and Vintage beds are more comfortable. Closet space in small rooms is minimal - pack light or use the provided drawers.

The breakfast buffet is frequently described as one of the best features of the stay. The breakfast quality and variety consistently make it worth including in the booking.
