The location is exceptionally central: within walking distance of MACBA, Las Ramblas, Plaça de Catalunya, and the central University building. The Renfe train station is just metres away, and Plaça de Catalunya metro station is a 3-minute walk, providing direct access to the L3 green line and the Aerobus to Barcelona Airport. The surrounding area is lively with a high concentration of bars, restaurants, and shops. The ground-floor entrance is on a busy street, and the property is on the first floor accessed by stairs.

Accommodation options include double rooms, twin rooms, and a family room with 5 single beds. Some rooms have a balcony, though twin rooms with a balcony do not have a private bathroom. Most rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, but there are five rooms that have only a sink in the room and the bathroom is shared in the corridor (two toilets and three showers). Room sizes vary and can be very small. There is no air conditioning, only a fan, which can make rooms uncomfortably hot in summer. Rooms on the street or near the reception are subject to significant noise from the street and other guests. The building has no lift, and rooms are on upper floors accessible only by stairs.
