Sant Miquel Beach is reachable in 19 minutes on foot. Liceu metro station is about 10 minutes away, with multiple bus stops for city and airport connections. The area is very lively at night, with bars and restaurants until the early hours; rooms facing the street can be noisy. A taxi drop-off point is not at the door - expect a short walk from the nearest accessible street.

Rooms include single, twin, and double options, each fitted with a wardrobe, a sink in the room, and a small balcony in many cases. The shared bathrooms (two per floor) are kept very clean but are tiny - taller or plus-sized guests may find them cramped. Sound insulation is poor: thin walls and a common corridor mean noise from the TV, conversations, and other doors carries easily. Rooms facing the street hear late-night street life; quieter back rooms are an option on request. The property is older and very basic, but the daily housekeeping ensures a spotless environment. The beds are comfortable, and heating is controlled centrally.

The property does not have its own restaurant. Instead, guests can use the shared kitchen (with refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and utensils) to prepare their own meals, though access is restricted between 14:00-16:00 and after 22:00. Breakfast is not provided, but a café is located right next door, and the Gothic Quarter overflows with dining options - traditional Spanish restaurants, tapas bars, and international cuisines are all within a few minutes' walk.
