The property sits on a quiet street just around the corner from Plaza Mayor, providing easy access to Mercado San Miguel (4-minute walk) and Gran Via (12-minute walk). Puerta del Sol metro station is a 5- to 9-minute walk away, making airport and city-region rail connections straightforward. The neighbourhood is full of cafés, supermarkets, and restaurants within a few hundred metres. While the area is central and busy, the building's position means street noise is generally low, and rooms with balconies offer good views over local architecture. The Prado Museum is about 17 minutes on foot, or a short metro ride. For those arriving from Madrid-Barajas Airport, the Sol train station provides direct connections.

Each apartment is air-conditioned and comes with a kitchenette (stovetop, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, and basic cooking utensils), a private bathroom with shower (some with very good water pressure), and soundproof walls. Most units have a private balcony or terrace offering city views; the terraces are noted for being generously sized by European standards. Rooms are described as compact but well laid out, with flat-screen cable TV, a hairdryer, and a safe. Some units feature parquet flooring. Double beds measure approximately 180 cm wide, and the beds are reported as comfortable by many. However, several units are noticeably small and minimally furnished, with only basic hanging space (a few hooks, no full wardrobe). Soundproofing is good overall, but rooms near a neighbouring bar may experience noise from patrons late at night. A few units show signs of wear-stained bedding or towels, squeaky beds, and minor maintenance issues. Rooms on higher floors tend to be quieter and may have better views.

The property does not offer breakfast or have its own restaurant or bar. Guests prepare their own meals using the in-room kitchenette, which includes a stovetop, microwave, kettle, toaster, and refrigerator. Basic cookware, cutlery, plates, and a coffee percolator are provided. A supermarket around the corner supplies fresh bread, croissants, and other essentials, making self-catering straightforward.
