The ryokan is situated in a calm residential area near Yanaka, popular for its traditional atmosphere and human-scale buildings. Guests arriving from Narita Airport can take the Keisei Line (limited express or Skyliner) to Keisei Ueno, then walk about 15-20 minutes, or take the JR Line from Narita via Tokyo Station. From Haneda Airport, the monorail to Hamamatsucho then the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line to Ueno is the most direct public transport route. Ueno Park, home to the Ueno Zoo, multiple museums, a lake, and temples, is within a 10-15-minute walk. Nezu Shrine and Yanaka Ginza shopping street are also close by. The area has several convenience stores across the street, and a variety of cafes and restaurants are within walking distance, though some days see limited options.

All rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring, futon bedding, air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, and free toiletries. Yukata robes are provided. Rooms with private bathrooms include a bath, bidet, hairdryer, and slippers, often with a quiet street view. Shared bathroom rooms share a toilet and shower, which can occasionally affect convenience during peak times. The property has stairs only - no lift. Some restaurants in the area are closed on Mondays, so checking opening hours ahead of time is recommended.
