TOKYO BAY ARIAKE WASHINGTON HOTEL, Tokyo

The hotel sits in the Ariake business and events district, within a 3-minute walk of both Ariake Station (Yurikamome monorail) and Kokusai-Tenjijo Station (Rinkai Line). This gives direct connections to the rest of Tokyo, including Shibuya in about 30 minutes. Tokyo Big Sight convention centre is adjacent, making it ideal for exhibition visitors. DiverCity Tokyo Plaza is a 20-minute walk or one train stop away, and Ariake Garden shopping mall is 15 minutes on foot. Toyosu Market is 12 minutes by train. The area is quieter at night but well-served by restaurants, a McDonald's, and convenience stores within the hotel building and nearby. Covered walkways connect the hotel to both stations, useful in rain.

The hotel offers single, double, twin, triple, and family rooms. All rooms include a private bathroom with a bath, shower, bidet, hairdryer, and slippers, as well as air conditioning (heating or cooling, but temperature cannot be precisely adjusted-only on/off), a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee maker, electric kettle, and a trouser press. Some rooms feature wooden floors with a shoe-off policy. Bed sizes and configurations include double (one 140 cm bed), twin (two single beds), and family options with two single beds and extra mattresses. Some rooms have views of Tokyo Bay or the city skyline, especially from higher floors. Standard single rooms are comparable in size to a typical Japanese business hotel; some guests have found the older rooms small and the bedding firm. No rooms have balconies or connecting doors.

Georgetown restaurant, reopened in October 2024, serves a breakfast buffet from 6:30-10:00 on weekdays (last entry 9:30) and 6:30-10:30 on weekends and holidays (last entry 10:00). The buffet is noted for its variety, with a create-your-own seafood donburi, a salad bar, plus Japanese, Chinese, Western (steak, pasta, scrambled eggs), and dessert options. Breakfast costs 3080 JPY per person. For other meals, the hotel has a daytime restaurant, and the surrounding area offers numerous options: McDonald's, Coco's Japan, and several local eateries all within a 5-minute walk. No halal or vegetarian meals are provided as special requests-only the general buffet.

On-site leisure is limited. There is no swimming pool, spa, or gym. Massage services can be arranged for an additional fee upon request. The hotel's main leisure appeal is its location: Odaiba beach, DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, and Ariake Garden are all within walking distance, and the area is well-suited for cycling. The free shuttle to Tokyo Disneyland also serves as a leisure-focused amenity.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel and is reported as fast enough for online meetings. The 24-hour front desk offers a courier service to receive parcels before check-in. Free luggage storage (self-service lockers) is available near the lobby. Coin-operated laundry is on the premises (three washing machines and three dryers; note that the hotel does not have a bill-changing machine on the laundry floor). Daily housekeeping is provided, and room cleaning is available upon request for stays under four nights. Meeting/banquet facilities and dry cleaning are available for an additional charge. The hotel has an elevator and is wheelchair accessible (with grab rails in some toilets and accessible parking). Safety features include key-card access, 24-hour security, CCTV, and in-room safe. Vending machines for drinks are also available.
