SHIZUTETSU HOTEL PREZIO TOKYO TAMACHI, Tokyo

Located in the Minato-ku business district, the hotel sits on a quiet street that is safe and pleasant for walking. Tamachi Station (JR Yamanote Line) is about a 5-minute walk and provides a direct connection to Shinagawa Station for Shinkansen and Haneda Airport. The Toei Mita and Asakusa subway lines are also a short walk. Haneda Airport is reachable in 20 minutes by taxi (approx. 6000 JPY) or about 30 minutes by train. Narita Airport requires taking the Narita Express to Shinagawa, then one stop on the local train. The immediate area is residential and commercial, with a canal and walking path behind the hotel, and many convenience stores and restaurants within a few blocks.

Rooms are air-conditioned with heating, carpeted floors, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a safe, an electric kettle, a refrigerator, and a trouser press. Some rooms offer a sofa bed. Room types include single, double (one or two beds), twin, and superior double that can accommodate up to three adults. The bathrooms are well-fitted with a bath, shower, bidet, hairdryer, and slippers. While some rooms may feel compact, many are considered larger than the typical Tokyo business hotel, with enough space for two people to open suitcases. The separated toilet and shower area is a practical design. Canal-view rooms are quieter than street-facing alternatives. Bed comfort and cleanliness are consistently high, though some reports note occasional issues with bedding odor or wear. A limited number of irons and ironing boards are available to borrow from the front desk. There is no kitchen in the room.

The property does not have a gym, pool, or spa. Leisure is limited to in-room relaxation and the quiet canal-side walking path behind the hotel, lined with flowers. The 6th-floor self-service laundry and the lobby's 24/7 coffee station are the main wellness-related conveniences.

All rooms and public areas offer free Wi-Fi. The 24-hour front desk can arrange taxis and assist with luggage. Luggage storage is available both before check-in and after check-out. A Yamato delivery service is offered for luggage forwarding. The hotel has a lift, 24-hour security with CCTV, and a safety deposit box. Additional paid services include dry cleaning, laundry (as a service and self-service on the 6th floor), and meeting/banquet facilities. Fax/photocopying is available at an extra charge. Complimentary amenities in the lobby include coffee, tea, toiletries (toothbrush, razor, bath salt, skin care items), and a money exchange machine. Check-in is done via self-service kiosk with staff available for assistance.
