The hotel is a two-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station, providing direct rail connections to Schiphol Airport (25 minutes by train) and the rest of the Netherlands. Major sights are easily reachable on foot: Anne Frank House is a 12-minute walk, Dam Square is 800 metres away, and the Dutch National Opera & Ballet is a 19-minute walk. The surrounding area is packed with restaurants, souvenir shops, and supermarkets, all within 300 metres. Trams run directly outside the hotel, offering quick access to museums and other neighbourhoods. For airport transfers, the train from Central Station is the most efficient option.

The twin/double rooms feature either a double bed or two single mattresses on a shared frame, which can separate during use. Each room includes air conditioning, soundproof walls, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, and a safe deposit box. The private bathroom has a walk-in shower (wet-room style) that may cause water to spread across the floor. Rooms are generally small - comfortable for one night or solo travellers but tighter for two people. Some rooms have windows to the street (city view), while others face an internal courtyard with poor outlook or no natural light. A few rooms are located in the basement. Heating is available but may be inconsistent; the air conditioning unit can be noisy. Consider upgrading to a 'Comfort City View' room for more space and a brighter setting. No wardrobe or fridge is provided in standard rooms.

There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel, and breakfast is not provided. The lobby offers complimentary hot beverages from a machine 24/7, and vending machines sell packaged snacks and drinks. For meals, a wide range of restaurants is within a 300-metre walk, including Dutch, Italian, and international options such as De Silveren Spiegel, San Tommaso, and Burger House. Supermarkets nearby allow self-catering for light meals. Guests who require a full breakfast should plan to eat at a nearby café (many open from 9:00).
