The hostel is located near Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station, which provides direct train and bus connections to Schiphol Airport (10 km) via bus 369, and to the city centre via tram or bus in roughly 20 minutes. Anne Frank House is 3 km away, Vondelpark 3 km, and the Museum District is reachable within 20 minutes by public transport. The surrounding neighbourhood is quiet at night, but the entrance area may occasionally have a cannabis odour. A Lidl supermarket is directly across the street, and a pizza place is a 1-minute walk away, making self-catering easy.

Rooms are compact for the number of beds, with some as small as 18 m2. Rooms have heating but no air conditioning, and a single window pane that opens slightly - poor ventilation is common, especially in summer when capsules can become very warm. The dorm-style rooms include lockers under the bed (small, suitable for a backpack rather than a large suitcase), a seating area, and shared bathroom facilities with showers that operate on a push-button timer. Capsules have a door that closes for privacy. Noise from other guests opening lockers or doors can be disruptive, and the lack of bed curtains reduces individual privacy. Bedding (sheets and pillowcase) and a free locker padlock are provided; towels are rented for €3. Hairdryers are free to use.

The shared kitchen is equipped with a gas/electric stove, oven, refrigerator, cutlery, and cooking utensils, allowing you to prepare your own meals. Free tea and coffee are offered in the common area. A Lidl supermarket is immediately opposite the hostel, ideal for buying groceries. The hostel also has vending machines with drinks and snacks, and on Friday evenings there is a social event with a makeshift bar. Birtat Restaurant is 0.5 km away for those preferring to eat out.

The hostel provides a shared lounge/TV room open 24 hours, a terrace with outdoor furniture, and a picnic area. Board games and puzzles are available for guest use. Bicycle rental is available from reception at a cost of €16 for the first day and €15 per additional day, with a €50 deposit, and is a popular way to explore the quieter residential streets and nearby parks. There are no wellness facilities such as a spa, gym, or swimming pool.

The 24-hour front desk can handle late arrivals and early departures without extra charge. Express check-in/check-out and private check-in/check-out are offered. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after check-out. Each bed comes with a locker (padlock provided). Safety deposit boxes are available at reception. The property has CCTV, security alarms, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. On-site parking costs €15 per day and does not require a reservation; you may re-enter with the same pass. Daily housekeeping is free, and laundry is available at an additional charge.
