WESTLAKE HOTELS AMSTERDAM, Amsterdam

The hotel is set in a quiet, residential area on the city's west side, close to Sloterpark and Ookmeer sport park (both a 15-minute walk). The Hoekenes tram stop (line 17) is reachable in about 10 minutes on foot and takes approximately 30 minutes to reach central Amsterdam. For airport transfers, take bus 369 from Schiphol to Station Sloterdijk, then bus 63 to Reimerswaalstraat, a one-minute walk from the hotel. Several shops, supermarkets, and casual dining options are within a 5-10 minute walk, including Steakhouse Pizzeria Osdorperban (0.5 km) and Restaurant Bir Bey (1 km). The area offers a safe and calm atmosphere, well-suited for travellers with a car or those prioritising affordable parking.

The breakfast spread includes bread, pastries, cold meats, cheese, cereals, fruit, and hot drinks. The property has vending machines for drinks and snacks in the lobby, and a hot water dispenser is available. However, there is no restaurant, bar, or shared microwave for heating food. Several supermarkets, cafes, and casual dining spots are within a short walk, offering alternatives for lunch and dinner. Guests wanting a fuller meal should plan to eat out.

The fitness corner provides basic equipment for a light workout, and the solarium offers tanning options. Bicycle rental is available at an additional charge, allowing guests to explore the nearby parks (Sloterpark, Ookmeer sport park) and local neighbourhoods. There is no swimming pool, spa, or wellness centre on the property. The fitness area is functional and suits travellers looking for simple exercise options rather than a full gym.

The 24-hour front desk offers VIP check-in/out, tour desk assistance, and free safety deposit box use. Luggage storage is provided free of charge, and daily housekeeping (including towel changes) is included. A paid shuttle service is available, and the hotel assists with public transport tickets and maps. The property is fully non-smoking, with key card access, CCTV, and 24-hour security. Accessibility features include a lift, wheelchair-accessible rooms (limited to Double and Twin categories), lower bathroom sinks, raised toilets, grab rails, and emergency cords. Wi-Fi is free in public areas; in-room internet is also available at no extra charge. Other amenities include a vending machine (drinks and snacks), packed lunches, and an iron/ironing board available at reception. No pets are allowed, and a €150 refundable deposit is required at check-in.
