STUDIO NICEHOME MASSENA, Nice

The property sits on the main pedestrian street connecting the train station to Place Masséna, placing you in the absolute heart of Nice. The tram line 2 stop is directly outside, providing a direct link to Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (6 km) and the train station (10 minutes on foot). Promenade des Anglais and the beach are within 500 metres, and the old town, shopping streets, and numerous restaurants and cafés are all reachable within a few minutes' walk. For Carnival festivities the location is ideal, and a public parking area is approximately 100 metres away for those arriving by car.

Each unit is a studio-style apartment with a combined living/sleeping area and a separate bathroom with a shower. Interiors are clean and contemporary with new fittings, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, strong air conditioning, and heating. The kitchenette includes a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, tea and coffee maker, and electric kettle - adequate for preparing breakfast and simple meals. The bed setup is either a double or twin configuration. Street-facing apartments have a balcony with city views but are directly above the tram line, causing significant noise from early morning until late at night; inner courtyard units are much quieter. Room size is functional for a couple but feels compact for two sharing; the sofa bed is suitable for one adult. Storage is limited to a small rail and open shelf rather than a wardrobe. Blackout blinds are absent in some street-facing rooms. The bathroom sits next to the bed with a sliding door, offering limited privacy.

The studio's kitchenette allows self-catering for simple meals. For dining out, the surrounding pedestrian streets are filled with restaurants, cafés, and bakeries; several options are within 200-300 metres, including Le Boudoir, La Maison de Marie, Casa Nissa, and L'ybane Bar Restaurant. A supermarket is nearby for groceries. The tram stop provides easy access to wider dining options across Nice.

WiFi is free and works well throughout the property. Security features include 24-hour security, CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, key card and key access. The building has a lift, though there is a sharp turn of stairs directly outside the lift entrance. An iron and ironing board are provided in each apartment. Towels and basic toiletries are supplied initially, but extra towels cost €3 each; housekeeping supplies are not replenished during the stay. Only one key set is issued. An invoice is provided upon request. Communication with management can be inconsistent - expect response delays, and late check-in coordination should be confirmed in advance. Luggage storage before check-in or after check-out is not available.
