THE FRITZ HOTEL AMSTERDAM, Amsterdam

The Fritz Hotel sits directly across from the Rijksmuseum on a canal ring, placing you at the heart of the Museum Quarter. Leidseplein, with its nightlife and tram connections, is a 5-minute walk away, while the city centre is a 25-minute stroll. A tram stop is right outside, and airport buses arrive at Leidseplein, making car-free exploration straightforward. The neighbourhood is lively with restaurants, including several Chinese options nearby, and a bicycle rental is 100 metres away for wider city exploration.

The on-site café offers breakfast and lunch, including toasties and illy coffee, inside a combined art gallery space. No hot breakfast is provided; the offering is limited to pastries and coffee. Several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Levant and The Pantry, offering wider dining variety. Those with dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten-free) may need to plan ahead, as the café's menu is limited.

The hotel is located near canals where boating activities can be arranged locally. Temporary art exhibitions are also accessible nearby, providing additional cultural leisure options. The hotel itself does not have a spa, gym, or pool.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. Services include daily housekeeping (not on Sundays), luggage storage, express check-in/check-out, a concierge, and a tour desk. Safety features include CCTV, a safety deposit box, and smoke alarms. The lift is small and slow; stairs are steep. The hotel is adults-only. Coffee house on site. No pets allowed.
