The location is central enough to explore most of the city on foot, and the Metro provides quick connections to the airport and further afield. The immediate area around the hotel is lively with street performers and activity, especially near the cathedral.

All rooms are situated on the first floor of a Modernist building. Exterior rooms have windows with views of the Cathedral, Via Laietana, or Plaza Ramon Berenguer - the specific view cannot be guaranteed. Many exterior rooms feature private balconies of varying sizes, each able to comfortably seat two people. Interior rooms face an internal shaft and have no natural light or openable windows (frosted glass only). The interior rooms are quieter from street noise but can still hear cathedral bells and noise from the common area. Rooms are compact; storage is limited to an open hanging rail and a bench, with minimal surface space. Beds can be configured as two singles upon request. The rooms are cleaned daily with towel and linen changes. The bedding and pillows are generally comfortable, but some rooms have hard mattresses. The TV does not have Netflix, and there is no in-room fridge - a shared fridge is available in the common area.
