The hostel is on Carrer Girona, a quiet street in the Eixample district, within easy walking distance of both La Sagrada Familia and La Pedrera. The Verdaguer metro station (L4 and L5 lines) is a five-minute walk, providing direct connections to the airport (about 50 minutes) and to Plaça de Catalunya in under 10 minutes. The Gracia neighbourhood, with its trendy bars, restaurants and public squares, is a 15-minute stroll. Many supermarkets and eateries are on the surrounding streets, and Barcelona Sants train station is about 10 minutes away by metro. The area is safe, well-connected, and offers a central base for exploring the city on foot or by public transport.

All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower, and most have a separate sink in the room for extra convenience. Dormitories come in 4-bed and 6-bed configurations, with female-only options available. Each bed has its own light, power outlet, curtain for privacy, and a large under-bed locker (bring a padlock). Private rooms include double or quadruple beds, while some rooms offer a view of the pool. Air conditioning is centrally controlled and can only be switched on or off, not adjusted. Windows can be opened during the day but are locked overnight to maintain security and temperature. This means rooms may feel stuffy or humid, especially in warmer months. Upper bunks can be tricky to climb and some bed frames are reported to be creaky. The overall room size is compact but well-maintained, with parquet floors and modern fixtures.

Breakfast is a buffet offering eggs, tortilla, croissants, bread, pancakes, yogurt, fruits, cereals and hot drinks. It costs 7€ per person for most room types, but is included for guests staying in double or family rooms. Dinner is prepared every evening at 21:00 and includes a three-course set menu with three drinks, often featuring paella and a vegan option-available for 12€. The shared kitchen is open until midnight and free for guests to use; it has fridges, hobs, a microwave and a kettle. Coffee, tea and water are available free of charge in the dining room during the day. The on-site bar serves drinks and snacks, and the surrounding streets offer many cafés and restaurants within a five-minute walk.

The rooftop terrace features a small swimming pool with a view, open seasonally from 08:00 to 21:00. Sun loungers are provided, and a bar operates on the rooftop during opening hours. The pool is not heated, but the terrace offers a pleasant spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. Activities organised by the hostel include walking tours (usually daily at 11:00), pub crawls, and community dinners that help solo travellers connect. A shared lounge and TV area on the ground floor provides additional space to socialise or work remotely.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the building. The 24-hour front desk can assist with late check-ins, local recommendations, and arranging walking tours. Free luggage storage is offered both before check-in and after check-out, making it easy to explore the city while waiting. Laundry facilities are on site for 3€ per wash or dry (soap provided). The shared kitchen is well-equipped and open until midnight, with fridges for guest food storage (label your items). A lift serves all floors, and the property is wheelchair accessible with adapted rooms available on request. Key card and key access control, CCTV and smoke alarms are in place for security. Daily housekeeping is provided, though cleaning may be limited to common areas and between room turnovers rather than in individual dorms during a stay.
