The hotel sits on Beatty Street directly across from BC Place Stadium and two blocks from Rogers Arena, making it ideal for sports and concert visitors. Queen Elizabeth Theatre and the Vancouver Public Library are just around the corner, while Robson Street shopping is a five-minute walk away. The SkyTrain station is two blocks from the hotel, providing direct connections to YVR Airport (35-40 minutes) and Pacific Central Station (one stop). Gastown, Chinatown, and Yaletown are all within a short walk. Numerous restaurants, bars, and a Costco are within two blocks, and the Downtown Farmers Market operates Wednesdays through November at šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl'e7énḵ Square, an 8-10-minute walk from the hotel.

All 220 rooms are private (no dormitory-style). Superior Queen rooms and rooms with two queen beds provide a private, en-suite bathroom in a newly renovated tower. Standard double and twin rooms offer a choice of semi-private bathroom (shared with the adjoining room only, with a lock system) or a hallway shared bathroom (shared with 4-5 other rooms). Semi-private bathrooms have showers only; hallway bathrooms include a bathtub. Rooms with shared bathrooms have a vanity sink inside the room. Noise from air conditioning units is a known consideration, particularly in older parts of the building, and road-facing rooms can be less suitable for light sleepers. Rooms are individually heated and air-conditioned. No rooms have balconies. A safe-deposit box is available at the front desk.
