The area is excellent for walking; most city centre attractions, the Market Square, and the harbour are easily reached on foot. Tram stops are a 5-7 minute walk away, providing direct routes to both cruise ports and the airport train link at the central station. Despite its central position, the street is calm, offering a peaceful night's sleep if you choose a room facing the inner courtyard. There is a supermarket on the next street, and numerous non-touristic dining options are within a few blocks.

Standard double/twin rooms are approximately 13 m2 and come with a work desk. The decor is older and shows some wear, with a vintage 1970s feel that some find charming. All rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, and tea/coffee making facilities are available upon request (kettle from reception). Bathrooms include heated floors and a heated towel rail, which is practical for drying clothes but can make the room uncomfortably warm in summer as the heating cannot be turned off. Larger family rooms (e.g., quadruple and two-bedroom suites) offer more space and may have a minibar. Rooms facing the street can be noisy, especially with windows open for ventilation. There is no air conditioning in most rooms; a fan is provided, but summer temperatures can exceed 30°C. Corner rooms and higher-floor rooms may offer a city view.
