APARTAMENTOS ORLY CLUB ARENA DORADA, Puerto del Carmen (Lanzarote)

Accommodation choices include studios and one-bedroom apartments. Studios are located on the ground floor with a garden-view terrace. One-bedroom apartments (upper or lower floor) can sleep up to three adults and one child under 14 years via a sofa bed in the living room. All units feature a kitchen with a hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and basic utensils. Bathrooms have a shower, hairdryer, and private toilet. There is no air conditioning; a fan can be rented. Apartments are cleaned three times a week. Some apartments have dated furniture and the shower area may need a deep clean. For a better experience, book a top-floor apartment in Block C or D with a sea view and avoid ground-floor studios which have less privacy. Family travelers should be aware that no two-bedroom apartments exist, and some ground-floor apartments face the rear bins, which can smell. A safe is available for a charge of €2 per day plus a €5 deposit.

The poolside bar (run by Aziz) serves a menu of burgers, pizzas, snacks and drinks, and is open from morning until 18:00. It is a relaxed spot with happy hour from 17:00 to 18:00. Breakfast is available at a nearby hotel (not on site) and the quality is basic. Since the bar closes at 18:00 and there is no evening restaurant, you will need to eat out each evening. The apartments have a kitchenette so you can prepare your own meals. The surrounding streets are packed with Italian, Asian, and international restaurants - all within two minutes' walk.

The main outdoor swimming pool is open all year (unheated) and surrounded by sun loungers and parasols. Pool towels are provided free of charge. The property also has a sun terrace, solarium, and public bath. The gardens are well maintained and include a kids' pool area (though it is small). The beach is 25 m away and offers another swimming option. No spa, gym, or table tennis are available. Inflatables and balls are not allowed in the pool, and the lifeguard enforces this strictly.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas, though connectivity can be weak in some apartments. Reception is open from 08:00 to 22:00 and offers express check-in/out, luggage storage, and a tour desk. A laundry room with washing machines and dryers is available (€8 per use). A safe can be rented for €2 per day plus a €5 deposit. The property has CCTV, smoke alarms, and key access. Car hire can be arranged via reception. No airport shuttle is available.
