APARTMENTS BY LIGULA, HAMMARBY SJOESTAD, Stockholm

The apartments sit in the Hammarby Sjöstad district, a modern lakeside area with a relaxed atmosphere. The tram stop Mårtensdal is directly outside the entrance, and it connects to Gullmarsplan metro station in one stop, providing fast access to Gamla Stan and the city centre (20-25 minutes total). The ICA Supermarket and a pharmacy are on the ground floor, and several restaurants, cafés, and a brewery are within a short walk. Sickla Beach is 2 km away, Tele2 Arena is 2 km, and Bromma Stockholm Airport is 14 km. For trips to the city, the tram and bus are the most practical options; a taxi or Uber is recommended from Arlanda. The area is also cycle-friendly with paths along the waterway.

The apartments range from Medium (up to 2 adults) to Extra Large (45 m², up to 2 adults), with Large and Family Studio options that include a bunk bed for children. Each apartment features a fully tiled bathroom with a walk-in rain shower, a kitchenette with an oven, microwave, fridge (no freezer), a washing machine, and a flat-screen TV. The beds are double beds with two separate duvets on a shared mattress. Soundproofing is good, and rooms facing the rear of the building are very quiet. Floor-to-ceiling windows with blackout curtains provide natural light and darkness for sleep. The furnishings are from Svenskt Tenn, Carpe Diem, and Kartell. Some apartments have floor-to-ceiling windows that can be opened for ventilation.

The apartments offer a fully equipped kitchenette for self-catering, with supermarket shopping available just downstairs. The on-site Motel L serves a paid hotel breakfast for guests who prefer not to cook. Several restaurants are nearby: Keyaki Sushi (0.5 km), Texas Longhorn Hammarby Sjostad (0.5 km), and others such as Tezukuri, Pane Fresco, and Taco Bar. Free coffee and tea are available around the clock in the Motel L lobby.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and common areas. The 24-hour front desk at Motel L provides concierge service and luggage storage (short-term only). There is a common laundry room that can be booked up to two times per week. The building has a lift and is fully accessible. Electric vehicle charging is available. The reception team can help with transport advice, including directions from Arlanda (take Arlanda Express or coaches to Central Station, then green metro to Gullmarsplan and tram to Mårtensdal). Payment is accepted by American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. Smoking is not permitted on site.
