B&B HOTEL LYON CENTRE PERRACHE, Lyon

The hotel sits on the south side of the Presqu'île, within a short walk of Place Bellecour (20 min) and the Halle Tony Garnier conference hall (2 km). Tram stops T1 and T2 are steps away, providing a direct ride to Confluence Museum and Part-Dieu station. Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is 30 km away and reachable by Rhônexpress then tram. The immediate neighbourhood has a university-vibe with many affordable ethnic restaurants, cool bars, and cafés within 0.3-0.5 km. Some streets can feel less secure late at night, but the area near the hotel remains quiet. On-site parking (paid, no reservation) and an EV charging station make arrival by car straightforward, though spaces are limited.

Rooms are compact-especially in the smaller categories-and best suited for short stays. Each unit includes a private en-suite bathroom with a shower (some with a hair dryer), soundproof walls, parquet flooring, and heating. Some double rooms also include a coffee machine. Room amenities are basic: no refrigerator, no kettle, no iron, no safe, and limited storage space; luggage may need to be stored in the hallway if the room is very small. Noise from closing doors can travel, and road-facing rooms may pick up street sounds. The code-based entry system eliminates the need for key cards. Cleanliness standards are generally good, though occasional dust or leftover items have been noted. Triple and twin configurations (2 beds) are available for families or groups.
