B&B HUTSPOT, Amsterdam

The property is 21 km from Schiphol Airport. By public transport, take the train to Amsterdam Central and then one stop on metro line 52 (Noorderpark station, about a 10-15 minute walk from the B&B). Alternatively, a 20-minute walk leads to a ferry that connects to the city centre. The A'DAM Lookout is 2 km away. The neighbourhood is suburban and quiet, with a large park (Noorderpark) within a minute's walk, and a supermarket 5 minutes away. Several restaurants are within 0.5 km, including Domino's pizza and San Remo. Parking is available on the street and on-site.

There are two sleeping options. The attic room on the 2nd floor is 13 m2 with its own shower and toilet, and is reached via a typical steep Dutch staircase. The larger room is 17 m2, also on the 2nd floor, with big windows, a table and closet, and its own shower and toilet. A hallway area provides access to tea/coffee-making facilities and a small fridge for guest use. Each room includes an electric kettle, dining table, wardrobe, and parquet floors. Tall or large guests are recommended to book the more spacious 17 m2 room. The rooms have no television. Heating is available. Rooms face the road; bedrooms on higher floors are under the roof and may feel stuffy on warm days.

Breakfast provisions are left in the hallway on a tray or in a small shared fridge, typically including sliced bread, bread rolls with a toaster or air fryer, cold meats, cheese, butter, jam, honey, orange juice, milk, tea and coffee. The host can accommodate special dietary requests if informed in advance. Guests prepare their own breakfast at their preferred time. The breakfast area consists of a narrow hallway with a small counter, kettle, and a mini fridge. A supermarket is a 5-minute walk away for additional supplies.

Cycling and tennis equipment are available for guest use. The surrounding residential area is quiet and well-suited for walking or cycling. Noorderpark is within a minute's walk, providing a green space for walks, picnics, and relaxation. The property is also near an ice-skating rink.

Wi-Fi is free and available in all areas. Daily housekeeping is provided (in-room servicing not always daily). Private check-in and check-out are available, and late arrivals after 11pm can be accommodated by prior arrangement. A vending machine for drinks is on site. Luggage storage before check-in may be possible; confirm with the host. Parking is available on site at €7.80 per day (no reservation needed), and free on-street parking is also an option. No pets.
