BLUESEA LOS COCOTEROS, Puerto del Carmen (Lanzarote)

The complex sits directly on the Avenida, the main pedestrian strip lined with shops, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. The beach is literally across the road, and the bedroom doors face away from the street, keeping the sleeping area quiet despite the lively surroundings. Lanzarote Airport is a 10-minute drive, and Timanfaya Nature Reserve is a 25-minute drive. Dining and nightlife venues such as Shenanigans Irish Bar, Restaurante Roma, and The Buccaneer are within a 300-metre walk. For island exploration, car hire and bicycle rental can be arranged at reception.

Each apartment features a separate twin bedroom (two single beds that can be pushed together), a bathroom with a combined bathtub and shower, and a large living-dining area with a flat-screen TV. The kitchenette includes a fridge, microwave, electric kettle, and hob; basic utensils are provided. Balconies on upper floors offer sea views, while ground-floor units have a terrace but no sea view. Free air conditioning is available throughout (20 EUR deposit for the remote). Bedroom doors face the back of the building, so the sleeping area remains quiet even though the apartments face the busy strip. Some apartments have walk-in showers on request, but specific configurations cannot be guaranteed.

The property does not have its own restaurant or bar, so all meals must be taken out. The Avenida strip offers an extensive range of restaurants, cafes, and bars within a few minutes' walk - including Italian, seafood, Irish pubs, and fast food. Breakfast is not served on site, but several nearby cafes open early. The kitchenette allows for self-catering of light meals, with a supermarket within easy reach for groceries.

The outdoor pool is located at the back of the complex and is heated between October and March. The pool area has a sun terrace with free sun loungers, though the number of loungers is limited (approximately 14), so early arrival is advisable on busy days. The solarium and sun umbrellas are complimentary. Most visitors use the beach across the road, so the pool area tends to be quieter. No spa or wellness centre is available. Nearby activities include diving, golf (within 3 km), and tennis, all at additional cost.
