Hotel Details

Location

In Queens, 10 minutes from the 7 train station, offering easy access to Manhattan and both LaGuardia and JFK airports.

The hotel is situated on Queens Boulevard, a major thoroughfare. The Woodside subway station (7 train) is a 10-minute walk, providing a 30-minute commute to midtown Manhattan. The Q66 bus stops directly outside the hotel. LaGuardia Airport is 6 km away, JFK is 14 km, and Citi Field is 5 km from the property. The immediate neighbourhood is basic, with several pizzerias and a cafe within a 5-minute walk. Jackson Heights, with its Asian and South Asian restaurants and shops, is an 18-20 minute walk away.

Accommodation

Spacious rooms with private bathroom, air conditioning, and flat-screen TV; kitchenette rooms offer cooking basics.

Rooms vary from standard double rooms to suites. Standard king rooms have no microwave or fridge. King rooms with a kitchenette include a microwave, small fridge, electric kettle, and an induction cooker for simple boiling (not frying). The kitchenette units lack pans, dishes, and utensils. The double rooms offer city or quiet street views. All rooms have a desk, wardrobe, safe, and parquet floors. The building has a lift. Some rooms have a bathtub. While room sizes are generous for New York, some rooms feel dated and have minor cosmetic wear. Road-facing rooms may experience traffic noise.

Dining

No restaurant or served breakfast is available; a small complimentary self-service continental breakfast is offered in the mornings.

A basic breakfast is included in the room rate, consisting of toast, jam, cereal, coffee, tea, and instant noodles. The dining area is simple. For fuller meals, several pizzerias, a cafe, and a deli are within a 5-minute walk, and a wider variety of restaurants is available in Jackson Heights.

Wellness and Leisure

No on-site spa, pool, or gym facilities are available.

The Queens Hotel does not have a swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. Leisure activities are centred on the local area, with Citi Field, Arthur Ashe Stadium, and the American Museum of the Moving Image all within a short distance.

Facilities and Services

Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception with luggage storage, vending machine for drinks, and daily housekeeping are provided.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in all areas and a 24-hour front desk. Daily housekeeping is included. Luggage storage is free for same-day collection; longer-term storage costs $2 per bag per day. A drinks vending machine is available in the lobby. There is no restaurant, no ATM on site, and no airport shuttle service. Parking is very limited, first-come first-served, with free street parking nearby.
