LA QUINTA BY WYNDHAM SECAUCUS MEADOWLANDS, Secaucus

The hotel sits in a quiet office-park area, about 10 km from Times Square and Radio City Music Hall, and 20 km from Newark International Airport. A NJ Transit bus #320 stop is directly across the street, providing frequent service to the Port Authority Bus Terminal (a block from Times Square). Fares are roughly $4.25 one way or $8.50 round trip. Public parking is free on-site with no reservation needed. Walkable to several chain restaurants, a Walmart Supercenter, and Marshalls within 5-15 minutes. American Dream Mall, Meadowlands Exposition Center, and MetLife Stadium are all about 6-10 minutes by car. The area is safe and well-lit.

Rooms are generously sized and include a mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, ironing amenities, hair dryer, and a large work desk. Accommodation types range from double-queen family rooms (sleeping up to 5) to king rooms (sleeping up to 3) and suites with a sofa bed. Private bathrooms with a bathtub/shower combination are standard; no balconies or hot tubs are available. Rooms are non-smoking and air-conditioned, but the overall decor and furniture are outdated and show wear - the property would benefit from renovation. Noise from the hallway and outside can be an issue; light sleepers may want to request a room away from the elevator and main road.

The Bright Side Breakfast® offers a rotating selection of scrambled eggs, sausage, pre-made waffles, toast, cereals, fruit, yogurt, and juice. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby 24/7. Breakfast hours are typical for a hotel of this class. While the selection is consistent day-to-day, it's adequate for a quick start to the day. There is no on-site restaurant, so guests rely on nearby eateries within walking distance (Olive Garden, Panera Bread, Outback Steakhouse, McDonald's, and others) or plan meals around their NYC excursions. The breakfast does not typically include non-dairy milk options.

The indoor heated pool is open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, providing a welcome option for relaxation after a day of sightseeing or business. The pool area is clean with towels provided. The fitness center has been reported as closed for extended periods, so guests prioritizing a workout should plan an alternative or confirm availability before booking. There is no spa, hot tub, or Jacuzzi on the property. For outdoor recreation, walking trails and parks are nearby, and the hotel is close to major attractions like MetLife Stadium, American Dream Mall, and Meadowlands Exposition Center.

Parking is free and on-site with no reservation needed. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk can assist with luggage storage, and an ATM is on site. The business center offers free computer use and basic office services. For meetings, the hotel provides 14 meeting rooms in 900 m² of flexible event space, accommodating up to 500 guests. Fax and photocopying are available for an additional charge. Pets are welcome for a $20 per pet, per night fee (max 2 pets, 23 kg each). The property is wheelchair accessible, with accessible parking and a roll-in shower in designated rooms. A $50 security deposit is required at check-in; cash is not accepted - only credit or debit cards are processed.
