Santa Barbara Airport is 16 km from the property. The neighborhood is quiet, with a park nearby, and the marina, pier, and harbour are all reachable on foot within five to ten minutes. Taxis and rideshares are readily available for trips beyond walking distance.

Room types include double, quadruple, and the Castillo Suite (with microwave). All units feature a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Bathrooms have bathtubs and filtered water taps. While decor and carpet can feel dated, rooms are consistently described as clean and comfortable. Beds are supportive, and blackout curtains help for sleeping. Road-facing rooms can experience noise from Castillo Street, especially after 5 am.
