CENTRUM NICE, Nice

This central position places the property within a short walk of the main shopping avenue (Avenue Jean Medecin), the train station for regional and high-speed connections, and the beachfront promenade. The Russian Orthodox Cathedral is a 9-minute walk, MAMAC (3 km), Cimiez Monastery (5 km) and Castle Hill (5 km) are reachable on foot or by tram. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is 6 km away, accessible by a direct tram connection from the train station area. For getting around the city, the nearby tram stop links to the airport and the city centre. The immediate area is quiet for a central location, with a supermarket and several restaurants (VIA VERDE Salad & Mozzarella Bar, Armand) within a 5-minute walk. The neighbourhood is safe, though some quieter side streets may feel less lively at night.

Accommodation ranges from double rooms (1 bed) to quadruple and family rooms (2 beds, 2 separate rooms). Each room has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Rooms are compact in size - standard doubles fit one bed with limited storage space (open shelf arrangement rather than full wardrobe). Rooms come with air conditioning (efficient and quiet), heating, and flat-screen TVs. Windows are present in most rooms; shutters allow for a dark room. A refrigerator is provided in each room. Rooms are situated in a building with shared-floor layout and a communal kitchen on the same level. The property is self-catering apartment style rather than a traditional hotel. Rooms facing the interior or adjacent to common areas can be quieter; those near the shared kitchen or entrance may experience more footfall noise. The bed setup for quadruple rooms comprises two separate rooms.

The property's dining offer is limited to the shared kitchen area - a modern, clean facility with a kettle, Nespresso machine (coffee pods and tea provided), and the necessary equipment to prepare simple meals. No breakfast is served, and there is no restaurant or bar on site. For a full range of dining options, the surrounding streets (0.3-0.5 km) include Italian (VIA VERDE Salad & Mozzarella Bar), pizza (Le 49 Street), Mediterranean (L'oustaou), French (Le Rossini), fine dining with sea views (L'EssenCiel panoramic restaurant and bar), and a burger/fast-casual option (Un Service Presque Parfait). Several cafés and a supermarket are also within a short walk, allowing guests to stock up for breakfast or self-catering.

Centrum Nice does not offer its own wellness or leisure amenities such as a pool, spa, sauna, or fitness centre. The primary leisure resource is proximity to Plage Blue Beach (8-minute walk) and the Promenade des Anglais. For outdoor activity, the property is 3 km from MAMAC (modern art museum), 5 km from Cimiez Monastery and its gardens, and 5 km from Castle Hill with panoramic views. Boating is available in the surrounding area. The beach is a short walk and the surrounding neighbourhood provides pleasant walking routes to the centre and seafront.

WiFi is free throughout the property and works reliably in the rooms and common areas. The shared kitchen and lounge are well equipped and cleaned regularly, with a Nespresso machine, iron, and shared TV area. Housekeeping is not included daily; it is available on request for an additional charge. A paid laundry service and ironing service are offered. Airport pick-up/drop-off and a shuttle service are available for an extra fee (estimated €35-€50 by Uber/Bolt). Luggage storage is not available on site; a paid external service (Centrum Box, €5) is recommended for early arrivals or late departures. A damage deposit of €250 is blocked on the credit card. Pets are allowed on request (additional charge). Self check-in is via a door code, with no physical reception - communication with the multilingual staff (English, French, Polish, Romanian, Russian) is by message through the booking platform, and response is generally prompt. Cash payment is not accepted; only cards (American Express, Visa, JCB, Maestro, UnionPay, MasterCard) are accepted. CCTV in common areas and smoke alarms are installed.
