The hotel sits right off the interstate, yet rooms are generally quiet from road noise. The Walnut Street pedestrian bridge is just over 2 km away, and Warehouse Row's local artisans and boutiques are a 10-minute walk. Ruby Falls (a 44.2 m underground waterfall) is about 10-15 minutes by car, and the Creative Discovery Museum is roughly 20 minutes away. The attached parking garage connects directly to the Convention Center, making it ideal for conference attendees. For getting around without a car, a free shuttle to area attractions is provided, and the front desk can advise on nearby bus routes.

Room options include 1 King Bed or 2 Double Beds, with the double rooms containing two full-size beds. Adjoining rooms are available. The rooms are carpeted and feature air conditioning, heating, an ergonomic chair, and a tea/coffee maker. Bathrooms offer generous counter space and a walk-in shower with two shower heads. The sliding frosted glass bathroom door does not block light or sound, so light from the bathroom can reflect off the opposite mirror into the bedroom at night. Rooms have been renovated and feel modern, though some have dated carpet. No balconies or microwaves are provided. For light sleepers, higher floors away from elevators tend to be quieter, as corridor noise and door slamming can travel.

The main restaurant is Table South Kitchen + Bar, located on-site and serving classic American dishes. Breakfast is available for an additional charge ($16) and is typically a buffet with made-to-order omelets, but on slower mornings the full buffet may not be offered. The lobby bar features a full-service bar with drinks and sports viewing, and sometimes hosts live music. Lookout Café provides coffee, snacks, and lighter options throughout the day. In-room dining is also available for dinner. The M Club (for eligible members) offers a breakfast spread and evening hors d'oeuvres, and the staff there are noted for their friendly service. Several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Tupelo Honey, Pickle Barrel, and Goodman Coffee Roasters.

The outdoor swimming pool is heated and open year-round, closing only during inclement weather. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided. The fitness centre is open 24 hours and is large and well-appointed with a variety of machines and free weights. It also has filtered water and sparkling water available. Bicycle rental is offered for exploring the area. There is no spa on site.
