Situated on the banks of the Little Pigeon River, the Clarion Inn Willow River offers a quieter base for exploring Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country are a short drive away, as are Smokies Park baseball stadium, the Sevierville Events Center, and the Dixie Stampede dinner attraction. The entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is 24 km south. The location provides easy highway access without being on the main tourist thoroughfare, making it practical for families and business travellers visiting the University of Tennessee or Walters State Community College.

All guest rooms include a private balcony or patio (ground-floor rooms have a patio, upper floors a balcony) with views of the river or mountains. Each room has air conditioning, heating, a sitting area, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Family rooms accommodate up to five with a sofa sleeper; two-queen rooms include a full-size sofa sleeper. King suites feature an oversized two-person whirlpool tub and a gas fireplace. A fitness centre with exercise equipment is available free of charge. There is no spa on site. The indoor pool is heated and the chlorine level is monitored; some guests sensitive to chlorine may prefer the outdoor options.
