CoDE Pod - The Loft provides pod beds with curtains, USB sockets, LED reading lights, hooks, and shelves. The pods include comfortable mattresses and linens. Each pod has a locker secured with a digital lock. The LoFT features a penthouse apartment with a kitchen, a bathroom, and a roof terrace that has views of Edinburgh Castle. All rooms have code-operated access. Rooms have space for luggage, coat hooks, and code-operated lockers. Family rooms provide a safe deposit box, parquet floors, and a shared bathroom that features a shower and a hairdryer. Each room is 22 square metres. Dormitories include soundproofing. Eye masks and earplugs are available. Female-only dorms are available. Each room has mirrors, and hair dryers are available at the reception.

Breakfast is available. The continental breakfast buffet offers freshly made waffles, fresh yogurt pots, and assorted pastries. John's Coffee House & Tavern serves coffee, meals, and drinks. Guests can explore New Town's neoclassical masterpieces and Georgian townhouses. Guests can attend public Ceilidhs every Friday evening at Stramash, a live music venue. Guests can visit the Edinburgh Dungeons for recreations of Edinburgh's darkest tales. The Real Mary King's Close tour explores haunted underground streets. Mercat Tours leads tours of the haunted Blair Street Underground Vaults. Edinburgh Castle, with over 900 years of history, features dungeons. Blackford Hill has views, including the more-famous Arthur's Seat.
