COMFORT HOTEL BORSPARKEN, Oslo

The hotel sits in the heart of Oslo on Tollbugata 4, placing you steps from the main railway station with direct 25-minute Airport Express trains to Gardermoen. The Opera House, Munch Museum, and waterfront saunas are a short stroll away, while Karl Johans gate shopping and Grünerløkka dining are easily reachable on foot. Public transport - buses, trams, and the metro - is immediately accessible. For car users, the nearest paid parking garage is Paleet P-Hus about one block away. The area is safe and walkable, with numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops within a 5- to 10-minute radius.

The breakfast buffet is included in the room rate and features a generous spread: scrambled eggs, bacon, breads, pastries, cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruit, and hot drinks. Gluten-free bread and vegan options are available on request. For walk-in guests not staying, the breakfast costs 185 NOK. The 24-hour barception sells snacks, sandwiches, drinks, and wine/champagne - but tea and coffee are charged for non-members unless you join the free Strawberry loyalty program. The bar area doubles as the reception, and there is a terrace on the eighth floor with views of the Opera House. No restaurant is on-site, but many dining options are within a few minutes' walk along the harbour and Karl Johans gate.

The gym is equipped with free weights and cardio machines, and is open 24/7 for guests. Note that noise from dropped weights can be heard on the second floor. The property's eighth-floor terrace offers a pleasant outdoor space with views of the Opera House and harbour, ideal for relaxing. There is no pool, spa, or wellness centre on site. For leisure beyond the hotel, the Opera House roof and waterfront saunas are a 5- to 10-minute walk.

Wi-Fi is free and fast throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk, called 'barception', also serves drinks and snacks. Luggage storage is free, and you can leave bags before check-in or after check-out. Express check-in/out is available, and there is a self-check-in kiosk. Laundry and dry cleaning are offered for an extra charge. The hotel provides cots on request and has a lift (though one elevator was undergoing renovation until early 2026, which could cause delays). Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, and a safety deposit box. Pets are allowed for a fee. The property is non-smoking, with designated outdoor smoking areas.
