The Hauptbahnhof stop - a one-minute walk - offers bus, tram, underground and city rail links to all parts of Munich, including the airport via S-Bahn or the Lufthansa airport bus. Marienplatz Square and the Hofbräuhaus are two underground stops away, and the Oktoberfest grounds are less than a 20-minute walk. The surrounding area has numerous restaurants, shops and supermarkets. However, the immediate vicinity of the station can be busy, and the taxi stand directly outside the hotel generates street noise, especially at night.

All rooms have private bathrooms with towels changed daily. While rooms are generally clean, some are dated and may show wear, with occasional issues such as stained upholstery, broken fixtures or dust. Noise from the street and thin walls can be disruptive, especially with windows open. Fans are provided but are insufficient for very hot weather as there is no air conditioning. Room sizes vary; larger rooms can comfortably accommodate two people, while triple rooms are more compact. Family rooms and cots are available on request. Bed comfort varies: many guests find the beds comfortable, though some report sagging mattresses. A lift serves all floors. The hotel is non-smoking throughout.

The hotel does not operate its own restaurant or bar. Free coffee and tea are available in the lobby from 07:00 to 22:00. For other meals, many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets are within a short walk, particularly around the station and along the streets toward the city centre. A vending machine for drinks is also available on site.

Public parking is possible in a nearby garage at €24 per night; no advance reservation is possible. Parking at the sister hotel may also be available at a lower rate, subject to availability. The reception desk is open from 07:00 to 22:00; after hours, a key box is provided for arrivals and departures. Free luggage storage is offered, and the luggage room is located between the ground and first floor. Other free services include express check-in/check-out, fax/photocopying and use of the safety deposit box. A lift is present, and cots are available. There is no coin laundry.
