The property sits one block behind the Flamingo and LINQ casinos, placing the High Roller observation wheel and the Sphere entertainment venue within a 5-minute walk. Harry Reid International Airport is a 10-minute drive. Free parking is available on site, and the resort runs a free shuttle service within its grounds. The area is walkable to the Strip, but the surrounding neighborhood can feel rough, with occasional homeless presence. During F1 race weeks, road closures may affect access. The monorail is a short walk away, providing an alternative to driving.

Room types range from one-bedroom suites to two-bedroom villas with two bathrooms. All units include a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and cookware. A washer and dryer are provided in every suite. Living areas have a sofa bed, dining table, and a balcony or patio in many rooms. Some rooms offer views of the Sphere. The property is older and some units show wear, with dated furnishings, occasional cleanliness issues, and thin walls that allow noise from neighbours and outside. Air conditioning units can be noisy. No elevators are available in some buildings, so guests with mobility concerns should request a ground-floor room. The resort is a timeshare property, so daily housekeeping is not provided; towels and linens are not replaced unless additional fees are paid.

The on-site restaurant, Gold Mine Bar & Grill, serves American cuisine and specialty cocktails, open daily from 07:00 to 22:00. Breakfast is available but not as a traditional buffet; instead, a daily credit of $30 per room is provided, which may not cover a full meal for families. The restaurant can be understaffed, leading to long wait times. BBQ facilities and picnic areas are available for self-catering. A minimarket on site sells essentials. For a wider variety, several restaurants are within a 0.5 km walk, including Jake & Eli Restaurant, Ellis Island BBQ, and Savona Bistro. The resort also offers a vending machine for drinks and snacks.

The resort features five outdoor pools, all open year-round, with sun loungers, umbrellas, and pool/beach towels provided. Some pools are fenced for safety. Four hot tubs are available. The two fitness centres are equipped with free weights and cardio machines. Additional activities include billiards, a games room, a golf course within 3 km, and happy hour events (some for an additional charge). A children's play area and an arcade are also present. Note that some pools may be under construction or closed during certain periods, and the pool deck areas can show wear. The property does not have a spa or wellness centre.
