The hostel sits on the border of Berlin-Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg, a vibrant district known for its restaurants, cafes, bars, and cultural venues. The U2 line at Senefelderplatz provides direct two-stop access to Alexanderplatz. Hauptbahnhof is 3 km away, reachable in 20 minutes by public transport. Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) is about 50 minutes away via train to Alexanderplatz then U2. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet at night, with a tram stop a few minutes' walk away. Nearby attractions such as Mauerpark flea market, East Side Gallery, and Checkpoint Charlie are easily reached by public transport. Mini-markets, a Lidl, and dozens of dining options are within a 5-minute walk.

The hostel offers mixed and single-sex dorms plus private rooms. Dorm beds are bunk-style with curtains and personal reading lights, USB chargers, and a locker underneath. Private rooms (9-12 m² for doubles, up to 31 m² for family rooms) are simply furnished with a desk, wardrobe, and parquet floors. All bathrooms are shared - separate male, female, and gender-neutral options are available, each kept very clean. The building has four floors and no elevator; all private rooms are on the fourth floor. Rooms have no air conditioning but radiators can be adjusted. The property is known for being quiet despite its central location. Twin and double rooms have desks suitable for working.

Breakfast is included and consists of cereals, milk, coffee, and tea - a simple but sufficient start to the day. Occasionally, staff host a free family dinner night.
