The hotel sits on a quiet street in the heart of Barcelona, a short walk from the MACBA Modern Art Gallery and 15 minutes from Gaudí's La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. Catalunya Metro Station, less than two minutes away, provides direct connections across the city, including the airport bus stop and the L2 line to Sagrada Familia. Numerous restaurants, bars, and shops are within a few blocks, and the Gothic Quarter and El Born are easily reached on foot. The central location means most major attractions are walkable, and the area feels safe both day and night.

Room sizes vary significantly: some are compact (particularly the smallest doubles and the family room with a sofa bed), while others offer more space, including rooms with a balcony or private terrace. Rooms facing the internal patio are noticeably quieter than street-facing ones. Some rooms have parquet floors and French balconies. A kettle can be requested from reception, and a minibar is standard. Bedding consists of two single beds pushed together rather than a proper double in some configurations, and pillows are sometimes reported as thin. Air conditioning functions well in warmer months but heating is fixed to approximately 23°C in winter, which some find too warm. Soundproofing between rooms is limited; light sleepers may benefit from requesting a quiet patio-facing room and bringing earplugs.

The breakfast buffet runs from 07:30 to 10:30 in a dedicated dining room and includes a variety of breads, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, hot drinks, and juice. For early departures, a breakfast box can be ordered the day before. The bar serves wine, champagne, coffee, and light snacks, and there is a coffee shop on site. No restaurant is available for dinner. The surrounding streets offer a wide range of dining options, including Teresa Carles, Bacoa, and many others within a 5-minute walk. A welcome drink is offered upon check-in.
