Praktik Bakery is situated on a quiet side street in a safe, central neighbourhood. Diagonal Metro station is a 5-minute walk, providing direct access across the city and to Sants station. Many major attractions are within walking distance: La Pedrera (250 m), Passeig de Gràcia, Casa Batlló, and Sagrada Família (15 minutes). Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas are 1 km away. The hotel is well connected to the airport via metro or Aerobus; a taxi from the airport takes about 25 minutes. The beach is reachable by a direct bus in about 20 minutes. The area is filled with restaurants, bars, and shops within a short walk.

Rooms are compact and minimalist in style, with air conditioning, soundproofed walls, and heating. Each room has a private bathroom with a high-pressure rain-effect shower; some bathrooms place the sink in the hallway to maximise space. Exterior rooms overlook Calle Provenza and have good natural light, while interior rooms receive some daylight but less. Some rooms have views towards Sagrada Família. There is no desk, chair, or seating area in many rooms, and storage is limited to a hanging rail. No fridge or minibar is provided in rooms, but a shared fridge is available at reception for essentials. Rooms come with a hairdryer and free towels and bed linen. Noise can be an issue in street-facing rooms and from other guests; light sleepers may prefer interior rooms. The large bed is sometimes two single beds pushed together which may separate during use. Pillows are noted as firm.

The hotel's bakery, Baluard, is located on the ground floor and is open to the public, serving fresh bread, pastries, cakes, sandwiches, and coffee throughout the day. A breakfast buffet is available daily from 7:30 to 10:30 for €12 per person, including bread, pastries, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, yoghurt, cereals, juice, and hot drinks. Coffee at breakfast requires collecting a pod from reception. Dairy-free milk (soya and oat) is available. There is no gluten-free offering. The bakery does not have a separate queue for hotel guests; during busy periods there can be a line. A welcome drink is offered. There is no restaurant or room service on site, but many restaurants are within a short walk.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk can assist with concierge services, express check-in/check-out, and tour bookings. Free luggage storage is available before check-in and after checkout. A paid shuttle service to/from the airport can be arranged from €40. Laundry and ironing services are available for an additional charge. A first-floor lounge area provides a quiet space to work or relax, with unlimited filtered drinking water.
