Puerta del Sol is a 5-minute walk, with direct metro access to the entire city and the airport (13 km via Gran Via Metro, 700 m away). The Prado Museum is 12 minutes on foot, Reina Sofía 14 minutes, and Thyssen-Bornemisza is 700 metres. Plaza Mayor (7 min) and Mercado San Miguel (800 m) are also nearby. The surrounding streets are packed with restaurants, bars, and shops. Due to the nightlife concentration, street-facing rooms can be noisy; rooms facing the patio are quieter.

Quadruple, triple, and twin/double rooms are available, each with a private shower and compact bathroom with a glass-door enclosure (no full lock). Bathroom lighting is dim. Beds have comfortable mattresses but one firm, high pillow per person. Rooms include a work desk, tiled floors, and blackout curtains. Air conditioning is set by reception and may not operate in winter. Street-facing rooms experience significant noise from nearby nightlife, especially on weekends; patio-facing rooms offer a much quieter environment.

The hostal does not serve breakfast or operate a restaurant. A vending machine with drinks is available. Within a 5-minute walk you will find dozens of bars, tapas bars, and restaurants, such as Inclán Brutal Bar, La Casa del Abuelo, and Las Bravas, offering a range of cuisines and price points.
