The hotel is set on a lively street in the Montparnasse district, surrounded by restaurants, crêperies, bars and shops. Montparnasse Train Station is a 5-minute walk away, offering regional rail and RER B services to both Paris airports. Edgar Quinet Metro (line 6) is a 2-minute walk, giving direct access to the Eiffel Tower. The Montparnasse Tower is 300 metres away, and Luxembourg Gardens is about 15 minutes on foot. The area is safe, well-connected by multiple bus and metro lines, and ideal for exploring Paris on foot or by public transport.

Rooms are individually decorated, some retaining an original fireplace. Room sizes vary significantly: double rooms are often very compact, and bathrooms are consistently small and may be poorly configured. There is no air conditioning, so rooms can become hot in summer. Street-facing rooms and those next to the lift can be noisy; interior courtyard rooms are quieter. Only three rooms have a private balcony. Some upper-floor rooms offer a view of the Eiffel Tower. Amenities include heating, a flat-screen TV, and a safe deposit box. Hairdryers and tea/coffee facilities are not provided; a few rooms have a fridge. Daily housekeeping is standard, but cleanliness levels have been inconsistent, with occasional musty smells and dust. Bed bugs have been a recurring problem - inspect bedding on arrival.

Breakfast is served in the breakfast room and includes bread, pastries, butter, jam, and hot drinks. The hotel does not have a bar or a restaurant. A shared kitchen is available for guest use, though its cleanliness has been inconsistent. Several restaurants, crêperies and cafés lie within a two-minute walk, offering a range of cuisines from traditional Breton crêpes to Middle Eastern and Asian dishes.

The 24-hour front desk can assist with check-in and basic requests. Daily housekeeping is included at no extra cost. Luggage storage is provided for an additional fee. There is no on-site parking; the nearest public parking with CCTV is 100 metres away. A lift serves all floors. Safety features include CCTV, key card access, a free safe deposit box, and 24-hour security. Cots are available on request. Fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet facilities incur an extra charge.
