Public transport is excellent, with trams 4 and 14 stopping right outside for a direct connection to Central Station and the airport. The area's vibrant atmosphere can result in significant street noise, especially on weekend nights, making it essential for light sleepers to take precautions.

Standard rooms are small and functional, typically containing two or three beds, a sink, and a TV. The bathrooms are shared, with two bathrooms per floor serving between three and six rooms. Some rooms have original features such as wooden beams. A limited number of Studio Apartments offer private bathrooms and a kitchenette with a stovetop and refrigerator. The compact size of the standard rooms makes them better suited for short stays where the room is primarily used for sleeping. Noise from the square and internal plumbing can be an issue, so packing earplugs is advisable. Steep stairs without a lift mean the upper floors may be challenging for guests with heavy luggage or mobility concerns.
