HOTEL PENSION AM HAUPTBAHNHOF, Munich

The hotel is situated directly opposite the main train station, providing immediate access to the U-Bahn, S-Bahn, and regional trains. This central position makes it easy to reach all parts of Munich. The immediate area includes a mix of bars and strip clubs, which can lead to street noise late into the night. Several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, and a Lidl supermarket is about 100 metres away for drinks and snacks. Parking is not available at the hotel, but a public parking garage is nearby.

Accommodation ranges from classic-style rooms with a private bathroom and shower to budget-friendly options with shared bathroom and toilet on the corridor. Triple rooms are available with three beds. Rooms are basic in style and furnishings. Noise from the street and neighbouring rooms is noticeable; rooms with windows facing the street can be particularly loud. There is no air conditioning or fan, so opening windows is the only cooling option, which compounds the noise issue. Some rooms show wear and tear. A lift provides access to upper floors.

Breakfast is not always available and must be confirmed at the time of booking. There is no restaurant or bar in the property. For other meals, a vending machine with drinks is available on site. A wide variety of restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Ali Baba Restaurant, Rasoi, and several others serving different cuisines. A Lidl supermarket is about 100 metres away for self-catering supplies. The guest house provides a shared kitchen and a common area with a coffee machine, microwave, and refrigerator.

No spa or wellness centre is available, and there is no swimming pool or gym. The focus here is on practical, no-frills accommodation for short stays, rather than leisure amenities. The central location provides easy access to Munich's cultural and entertainment attractions.
