The hostel is directly across from Kensal Green station, providing the Bakerloo line and London Overground for quick trips to Paddington, the West End, and Portobello Road Market (2 km). Lord's Cricket Ground and Hampstead Theatre are each 4 km away, and Olympia Exhibition Centre is 4 km. Heathrow Airport is 17 km away. Bus stops are also right outside, with night buses running 24/7. A large branch of a supermarket, numerous restaurants, and a cocktail bar are all within a short walk. While the immediate area is a main road, the transport connectivity makes it easy to reach central attractions without a car.

Rooms range from 10 to 16 m² with carpeted flooring and heating. Quadruple and twin rooms are available, with en-suite shower options in many rooms. Some rooms feature a private shower and sink; shared toilets are located on each floor. The building is older and basic: rooms contain minimal storage (one chair, a windowsill), and luggage storage in the room is limited to under the bed. Windows are single-pane, so street noise can be an issue on the main road side. Private rooms with en-suite bathroom are available for greater privacy. Beds have fresh linen included, but no towels are provided. Privacy curtains on bunks are not fitted.

The hostel's Brazilian restaurant serves à la carte lunch and dinner, with a bar offering a wide selection of drinks, including wines and champagne. A coffee house and snack bar operate on site, with vending machines for drinks and snacks. Breakfast is available for a fee, offering continental and Full English/Irish options.
