TONY'S HOUSE HOTEL, London

Paddington is a major transport hub: the Heathrow Express runs to the airport in about 15 minutes, and Bakerloo, Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City Tube lines are steps away. Lancaster Gate station is also a short walk. Hyde Park is five minutes on foot for jogging, walking, or park-side relaxation. Oxford Street's shopping is a ten-minute stroll, and dozens of restaurants-pizza, steak, fish and chips, cafés-are within a 0.5 km radius. The immediate square is quiet, but the hotel sits directly above Tube tracks, so expect train rumble and vibration in rooms.

There is no dining room; breakfast is served each morning outside your door at a chosen time. The selection is pre-packaged and not freshly made-croissants, brioche rolls, biscuits, a yoghurt, a drink, and butter/jam. Tea and coffee can be made in the room with provided kettle and supplies. No hot dishes (e.g. full English) are available. Breakfast items can be saved for later in the day. The surrounding streets have a wide choice of restaurants (Italian, steakhouse, pub food, fish and chips, café) all within a few minutes' walk.

Cycle hire is available at an additional charge-handy for exploring Hyde Park and central London. Table tennis is free and located on site (likely in the garden/picnic area). The nearest green space is Hyde Park, five minutes away, ideal for jogging, walking, or relaxing. The hotel is on a garden square with a small park opposite.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the building, with reliable signal reported in most rooms. The 24-hour front desk can assist with express check-in/check-out, luggage storage (free, before check-in and after check-out), and tours. Daily housekeeping includes fresh towels and linen changes. A safety deposit box is available at reception. The hotel provides a paid shuttle service (taxi-based, to/from Heathrow) and can arrange airport transfers by taxi. There is no lift, so guests with mobility needs should request a ground-floor room. No business centre, but fax/photocopying is available for an extra charge. Grocery deliveries can be arranged.
