LA QUINTA INN & SUITES BY WYNDHAM PHOENIX SCOTTSDALE, Scottsdale

The hotel sits right off the Loop 101 on-ramp, making it easy to reach business meetings or the airport without fighting city traffic. WestWorld of Scottsdale is 7 km away, and several Mayo Clinic facilities are within a few kilometers. The area is walkable to fast-food restaurants, a gas station, and a Circle K. While the freeway location offers convenience for drivers, rooms facing the freeway can be noisy - requesting a quieter side is recommended. Free private parking is ample and can accommodate trailers.

Rooms are described as large and comfortable with clean linens and good quality pillows. Many units feature a seating area, work desk, and ironing amenities. King Suites add a sofa bed in a separate living area. Bathrooms have a bathtub/shower combination. Some rooms offer pool views. The property shows its age - worn carpet, popcorn ceilings, and dated decor are common. Air conditioning units can be noisy. Rooms on the freeway side and adjoining rooms are prone to noise from traffic and neighboring occupants. No rooms have a balcony or patio.

Breakfast includes make-your-own waffles, hard-boiled eggs, sausages, cereal, toast, muffins, fresh fruit, juices, and coffee. Hot items like eggs and breakfast meat are not set out until 7:00 AM sharp. The breakfast area can feel crowded. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but several fast-food and casual dining options (Chick-fil-A, Mimi's Cafe, Subway, Scottsdale Beer Company) are within a short walk. Some guests find the breakfast very good, while others note it can be basic and repetitive for longer stays.
