Close to the historic center

Hotel Details

Location

Ideally situated 200 metres from Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station and a 10-minute walk from the historic centre, the hotel is on a quiet pedestrian street.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of Florence's main landmarks: the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, and the Uffizi Gallery are all about 1 km away. The street is pedestrian-friendly and lined with bars and restaurants, with several dining options within 0.5 km. The tram line from the airport stops at the station, making car-free access convenient. The location is practical for both train-based day trips and sightseeing, though the immediate street can feel busy during the day.

Accommodation

Air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, a computer, flat-screen TV, fridge, safe, and parquet floors.

Rooms are available as single, double/twin, triple, family, and quadruple configurations. Family rooms can accommodate up to 4 or 5 people with 4 beds, offering more space for groups. The bathrooms are private and include a shower, bidet, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Some rooms have been updated, while others retain a more basic, functional decor. A few rooms feature a hot tub, spa bath, or sauna. Storage space can be limited, and the rooms are generally compact. Request a room away from the street for a quieter stay, as traffic noise can be an issue in the street-facing rooms.

Dining

A generous buffet breakfast is served daily from 07:00 to 10:00 in a bright room with garden access.

The breakfast includes hot options such as bacon and eggs, sausages, scrambled eggs, as well as pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit juices, and hot drinks from coffee machines. Gluten-free options are available upon request. The hotel does not have a restaurant, bar, or café for other meals, but the surrounding street is lined with numerous restaurants and cafés within a short walk - including Trattoria Enzo & Piero, Trattoria Guelfa, and Indian Restaurant Crown of India Florence, all 0.5 km away.

Wellness and Leisure

The spa offers a sauna, emotional shower, and hot tub, available for exclusive use by up to 2 people by prior reservation at an additional charge.

Facilities include back, head, neck, foot, hand, and full body massage, body scrubs and wraps, facial and waxing services, as well as couples massage. The spa costs €15 per person for 2 hours (Monday-Friday €30 for exclusive use for two, Saturday-Sunday €40). Booking by phone before arrival is mandatory. There is a small garden and a kids' outdoor play area. No gym, swimming pool, or other leisure facilities are available. The spa is a peaceful retreat after sightseeing but requires advance planning.

Facilities and Services

Free Wi-Fi throughout, 24-hour reception with express check-in/out, luggage storage, and daily housekeeping.

The hotel provides safety deposit boxes in every room, a lift (with 4 steps at the reception area only), and soundproofed rooms. Business facilities include fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet rooms (for an additional charge). Cleaning services include free daily housekeeping, plus paid dry cleaning and laundry. A self-service washer and dryer are available for €5. The hotel is fully non-smoking with 24-hour security, CCTV, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. Cots and a children's play area are provided. No pets, airport shuttle, or wheelchair-accessible rooms are available.
