Obi Hostel is situated in the Nihonbashi district, within a minute's walk from both Bakuro-yokoyama Subway Station and Bakurocho Station A1 Exit. Direct trains from Haneda and Narita airports reach the nearest station, eliminating the need for complex transfers. Asakusa Station and JR Tokyo Station are a 4-minute train ride away; Ginza, Akihabara, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Roppongi are all accessible within 10-28 minutes. A supermarket (Fresco) is directly opposite, convenience stores are nearby, and the surrounding restaurants close around 23:00, keeping the area calm at night. The property does not have parking.

All rooms are air-conditioned and feature a hairdryer, clothes rack, and a personal locker (fits a medium-sized backpack). Each bunk is fitted with privacy curtains, and bed linens and towels are provided. Dormitory beds include an electric kettle, and some have a stovetop or washing machine. The space is compact - 2 m² per bed - so larger luggage may need to be stored under the bunk or in the hallway. Road-facing and group-booked dormitories can be noisy; light sleepers should consider requesting a room away from common areas or choosing a women-only dormitory for a quieter stay.

The ground-floor Cafebar & Dining Obi is the property's own restaurant, offering Italian dishes with options for Halal, Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-free diets. It serves breakfast (1300 JPY surcharge), brunch, lunch, and dinner, and also functions as a bar. There is a coffee shop on site, and packed lunches are available. The surrounding area has several convenience stores and a supermarket directly opposite, suitable for self-catering supplies, but there is no microwave or kitchen available for guest use.

The fitness centre spans two floors - one for cardio and one for strength training - and is open 24 hours a day. Access is not included in the standard room price; a plan with gym access must be selected at booking, otherwise non-guests and guests without the plan pay 2420 JPY per visit. There is no spa or swimming pool on site.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property and is generally strong. A 24-hour shared lounge and TV area is available. The lift provides easy access to all floors. The property offers a concierge service and private check-in/out. Safety features include key card access, CCTV, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and a free safe deposit box.
