Urgell and Sant Antoni metro stations are both less than 5 minutes away, and the Aerobus stop on Gran Via is a 1-2 minute walk, providing a direct 20-minute ride to El Prat airport. The neighbourhood offers a mix of brunch spots, vermouth bars, and traditional tapas places on Carrer de Parlament. Sant Antoni Market hosts a secondhand book market on Sunday mornings, and the MACBA and CCCB contemporary art museums are a couple of minutes away. The Gothic Quarter and the harbour are within a 15-minute walk, and Barceloneta beach is about 20 minutes by bus.

Dorm beds come with curtains, a power outlet, and a reading light. Lockers are free but require a €5 cash deposit for the key. Bed linen is included for stays of 2+ nights; for a single night it costs €3. Towels are not provided and can be rented for €3. Rooms with private bathrooms are available, as are female-only dorms with a private bathroom. All rooms have air conditioning and heating. The dorms are basic but practical, and the vintage decor - including sewing machines, mannequins, and fabric swatches - gives the hostel a unique character. Some rooms can feel humid, and road-facing rooms may experience traffic noise if windows are open.

Breakfast is not included and is available for an additional fee (€5 per guest per night). The kitchen includes a large fridge, stove, pots, pans, and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. A paella cooking class is offered as an activity. There is no restaurant on site, but the surrounding streets have numerous bars, cafés, and restaurants, especially on Carrer de Parlament and Carrer de Enric Granados, within a short walk. A vending machine for snacks and drinks is also available.

The games room also has a guitar and drums for jam sessions. The terrace is used for family-style dinners and relaxing. Daily free walking tours are offered, along with evening activities such as karaoke, pub crawls, movie nights, and themed dinner nights. Some events, like the pub crawl with open bar, may have a cover charge. The hostel does not have a spa, swimming pool, or fitness centre, but the location provides easy access to Barcelona's beaches and parks.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Laundry services are available for a fee; ask at reception for detergent. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after check-out, and a bike storage option is available for €3 per night. The 24-hour reception allows late arrivals, though a €5 late check-in fee applies after 23:00. Safety deposit boxes can be requested.
