All rooms feature a seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a bath. Selected rooms also feature a kitchen with a fridge, an oven, and a microwave. Some units have a balcony with a sea view. The Deluxe 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Apartment is located upstairs and has an ocean view balcony, a fully equipped kitchen, a bar top dining area, and a living room with a queen sleeper sofa. It was newly renovated in 2023. The Large Studio Apartment accommodates up to 4 people and offers lower units with screened-in patios or upper units with ocean-view balconies. It includes a fully equipped kitchenette and a choice of 2 Fulls, 2 Queens, or 1 King bed, renovated in 2018 with newly renovated tiled bathrooms. The Motel Room is an upstairs unit with an ocean view balcony, a king-size bed, a microwave, a coffee pot, a mini refrigerator, and utensils, renovated in 2021. Each additional person costs $20.00 per night.

Guests can use free bikes, an outdoor swimming pool, and barbecue facilities. Activities like fishing and cycling are available in-and-around Islamorada. Kayaks are available to explore the ocean waters. Guests can also fish from the pier for tarpon, mangrove snapper, nurse sharks, bonefish, and barracuda. Islamorada Founders Park, within walking distance, features an Olympic-size swimming pool, a sandy public beach with restrooms and outdoor showers, a pavilion, an amphitheater, soccer and baseball fields, tennis and pickleball courts, a kid-friendly small water park/ splash pad, and a walking path with circuit training exercise stops.

The harbor features a protective seawall with a U-shape docking area. The private harbor includes fresh water hoses, power hookups, a fish cleaning station, ice for sale, and a bait freezer. Dock carts and coolers are available. The marina is for resort guest vessels only. The harbor accommodates boats with up to a 3 1/2 foot draft. Boat launch hours are 9 am-5 pm, or by prior arrangement, dependent on the tides. Boat trailer parking is on site, adjacent to the resort. Storage for kayaks and SUPs is available, with easy-to-launch spots. Access to Bayside waters is through Snake Creek, just 1 mile west. Access to the 'Sand Bar' is 2 miles west, via Whale Harbor Channel.

Ragged Edge Resort & Marina is at the end of a quiet road where the land meets the ocean, at Mile Marker 86.5. Theater of the Sea on Islamorada is 4 km from the accommodation. Pigeon Key is 14 km away. The resort offers free bikes and free private parking. Onsite gravel parking is available for additional vehicles and boat trailers adjacent to the resort owners' house. Free WiFi is available. The staff is wanting to insure all guests are completely satisfied with everything. The resort does not accept pets of any kind, except for service animals. Bicycles may be used by guests 15 years or older, or who are of the required height, and supervised by a parent or guardian over 18 years old.
