The hotel is set on a main road at the western edge of Waikiki, directly behind the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Bus stops (Routes 19/20, 42, the Pink Trolley) are right outside, offering direct routes to the airport, Ala Moana, and Pearl Harbour for a low fare. A cruise terminal is about 6-10 minutes away. Waikiki Beach can be reached in 5 minutes, with Kahanamoku Beach and the Hilton Lagoon even closer. The area has many restaurants, ABC convenience stores, and a food truck park within a 10-minute walk. The Honolulu Zoo is a 10-minute drive. Road noise is noticeable on the front side of the building.

All rooms have private bathrooms and one bathroom per room. Studio-style layouts have no separate bedroom. Some rooms offer a balcony, while others do not. Rooms with city views are available. The air conditioning units are older and can be loud, cycling on and off; some rooms cool only to about 76-25.6 °C. Rooms on higher floors and the side away from the main street are quieter. Interconnecting rooms are available on request (subject to availability). Carpeted floors throughout; rooms have not been recently renovated but are generally maintained. Bed configurations include king, double, and quadruple options. No glassware, cutlery, or plates are provided in the room.

The on-site restaurant, Waikiki Gangnam Style, serves Korean cuisine and American breakfast. It is open from 07:00 to 21:00 daily. For those who prefer other cuisines, the area is packed with dining choices: Da HI Brew for coffee and breakfast sandwiches, Waikiki Brewing Company (with a kids' menu), Kan Sushi, and a food truck park-all within a 10-minute walk. Several ABC stores and a market plaza nearby sell snacks and hot meals. A McDonald's is a 3-minute walk away.

The outdoor pool is open daily from 08:00 to 21:00, with towels, loungers, and umbrellas available. It has a shallow end and is well-maintained. The fitness centre is compact but equipped for basic workouts. There is no spa or wellness centre on site. Coin-operated laundry is located next to the pool. Guests can also use the sun terrace for relaxing. Waikiki Beach, including the calm lagoon at Hilton Hawaiian Village, is a short walk away for swimming and snorkelling. Friday night fireworks at Hilton are visible from a 5-minute walk.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. The 24-hour front desk can assist with special requests and luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. A business centre and meeting/banquet facilities are available for an additional charge. Daily housekeeping is included; dry cleaning and laundry services are available at extra cost.
