SMILE HOTEL TOKYO ASAGAYA, Tokyo

From JR Asagaya Station, Shinjuku is a 9-minute ride, Kichijoji 6 minutes, and Tokyo Station, Harajuku, and Shibuya are all within 25 minutes. The neighborhood is lively with numerous restaurants, izakaya, and shops within a short walk, including a Family Mart 30 meters away. Despite the station-side location, the area is quiet, and train noise is minimal. No parking is available, so using the Chuo Line is the most practical transport option.

Rooms are available as doubles or twins, with double rooms offering more space than semi-double layouts. All rooms feature free toiletries, a trouser press, and free wired internet. While the decor may feel a little dated, rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and effective air conditioning. The quiet environment ensures restful sleep. Note that no rooms have a balcony.

For relaxation, the hotel offers a massage service. There are no additional leisure facilities such as a swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. The surrounding Asagaya neighbourhood provides opportunities for walking and exploring local shops and eateries.

The hotel provides free WiFi in all areas and free wired internet in rooms. Services include a 24-hour front desk, free luggage storage, daily housekeeping, and a vending machine for drinks. Laundry facilities are available for an additional charge. Other amenities include a trouser press, fax/photocopying (fee), and safety features such as 24-hour security, CCTV, and key card access. The property has a lift, is fully non-smoking, and does not allow pets.
