The hotel is situated on a relatively quiet side street (Soi 8) just off the bustling Sukhumvit Road, placing it within easy reach of nightlife, shopping, and dining. Numerous restaurants, bars, and shops line the soi, and the BTS Skytrain (Nana station) is only 200 metres away, providing direct connections to Siam, Asok, and other central areas. The area is lively at night but the hotel itself maintains a calm atmosphere. For those driving, free on-site parking is available but limited. The airport is reachable by taxi in about 40 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

Rooms are basic but functional, featuring air conditioning, satellite television, a minibar, and a private bathroom with shower. Each room has a balcony - some with pool views (Deluxe rooms) and most with outdoor seating. While the furniture and decor show signs of age, the beds are consistently reported as comfortable. Some rooms may have noise from the street or neighbouring air conditioning units, so requesting a room overlooking the pool is recommended for a quieter stay. Lighting in certain rooms can be dim for reading; bringing a personal reading light may help. Mosquito screens on windows can be imperfect; using repellent is advisable. No coffee or tea making facilities are provided in the room.

The on-site restaurant, Stable Lodge Restaurant, offers a menu of Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian specialities alongside Thai favourites. Meals can be enjoyed on the terrace next to the pool, creating a relaxed garden atmosphere. Breakfast is available from 07:00 to 11:00 but is not included in the room rate; guests order and pay directly at the restaurant. The restaurant also operates as a bar with Carlsberg on tap. Note that the restaurant and hotel are separate entities, so all food and drink charges must be settled at the restaurant with cash or card, and cannot be billed to the room. A 10% service charge and 7% tax are added to menu prices.

The hotel features a compact outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers and a pool bar serving drinks and snacks. The garden area provides a quiet spot to relax away from the street. Towels are provided at the pool. Massage treatments can be booked through the hotel. Note that the pool area may occasionally undergo maintenance; during such periods, the pool and bar may be closed. The pool area is adjacent to the restaurant, creating a sociable atmosphere.
