THE ASHEVILLE INN, Asheville

The inn sits directly off the interstate, making it a convenient stop for road trips. Biltmore Estate is 16 km away, Harrah's Cherokee Center and the North Carolina Arboretum are each 11 km, and Asheville Regional Airport is 19 km. The immediate area offers quick fast-food access: McDonald's is across the street, and Zaxby's, Dunkin', Hardee's, and Bojangles' are within a 5-minute walk. The property is close to the highway, so traffic noise is audible; rooms further from the road are quieter. For hikers, the Smoky Mountains are easily reachable from the on-ramp. The neighbourhood can feel busy during peak times, but the location is practical for budget-minded travellers who have a car.

Each room includes air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Bathrooms feature walk-in showers with good water pressure and hot water, though some have bi-fold doors that may not fully close. Many rooms have been recently renovated with modern furniture, but a few may show signs of wear. Highway noise can be heard in front-facing rooms; upper-floor and rear-facing units are quieter. Beds are generally comfortable, though some report the mattress as firm. Room lighting is limited - there is no bedside lamp, and overhead lights may not suit all guests. Daily housekeeping is provided, but cleaning consistency varies. Towels are fluffy and beds are well-made when serviced.

The Asheville Inn does not have a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. For meals, McDonald's is located across the street, open for breakfast and dinner. Within 0.5 km you'll also find Zaxby's, Dunkin', Hardee's, and Bojangles'. A drinks vending machine is on-site, but there is no coffee maker in rooms. The location next to the interstate means you can easily drive to downtown Asheville for a wider variety of restaurants. If you prefer to bring your own food, the in-room refrigerator and microwave allow easy reheating.
